L. Barry Albright

Barry Albright is currently the lecturer and lab instructor
of Earth Science in the Department of Physics at the University of North Florida
in Jacksonville. He received his BS in oceanography from Florida Institute of
Technology, the MS in geology from Louisiana State University, and the PhD in
geology from the University of California, Riverside. Prior to his employment
at UNF, Barry was Curator of Geology and Paleontology at the Museum of Northern
Arizona, Flagstaff. Since leaving Flagstaff, Barry has returned each summer to
southern Utah to continue his field work and research. His research interests,
which focus on refined resolution of fossil-bearing strata through the use of
paleomagnetic stratigraphy, have also involved projects in California, Oregon,
Antarctica, and Mongolia.
